Custom Payment Types allow you to create and use alternative payment methods beyond standard options such as cash, check, credit card, or EFT. Common examples include trade, barter, or charitable transactions, providing flexibility for unique business situations.

Adding Custom Payment Types


Navigate to Management Module / Global Settings / System.


1. Click on the Payments tab.

2. Check Enable Custom Payment Types.

3. Click Save Settings.

4. Enter the name of the new payment type

5. Click Add New Type.




Using Custom Payment Types


Navigate to the Sales Module / Orders and select the appropriate Order.


1. Click Enter Payment.



2. Select Other from the Payment Type dropdown.

3. Adjust Payment Amount if needed.

4. Select the type of Payment from the dropdown.

5. Enter Payment Notes if needed.

6. Click Submit Payment.



7. Payments made using Custom Payment types will appear under the Other section in the Daily Reconciliation.
