To allow users further flexibility in pricing, we have added the option to use interpolation when applying quantity discounts.
You can utilize this option anywhere in the system where you are managing quantity discounts (pricing tiers). In the management module under parts or modifiers, layout modifiers or machine modifiers is where you will notice this option.
Interpolation provides the ability to spread discount amounts between two known values. For example, if a certain part has it's first quantity discount assigned at 25, you can now simply choose the interpolation box and it will spread a smaller discount between quantities 1 and 24 respectfully.
When you are managing or updating your pricing you will now notice a simple check box that will give you this option should you choose to apply it.
Interpolation is available for both Market-Base and Cost-Plus pricing methods.
