Is there a way to permanently identify a customer other than by the name of the company (i.e., Customer Number)?
This would be very helpful in the case of name changes, merges, customers with multiple locations that wish to be billed separately, etc.
New user, here. We're going to have the same problem. Our previous system assigned a unique customer number to each customer, so regardless of name changes over time, all records could be easily found under that one number - art files on our local storage. Has this situation ever been resolved?
