Release Notes: January 16th, 2023

An update was released to all systems. Following are release notes related to new features, changes made to existing features and functionality, and fixes for previously reported issues. Enhancements / New Features

  • Added a new part setting that will allow users to change part type between Inventoried, Non-Inventoried, and Service.
    • Previously this option was only available when creating parts for the first time.
  • You can now search using a contact's phone number on Estimate Search, Order Search, Customer Search, and Contact Search.
  • Added a queue timer to the top of all queues in addition to the one that was already present at the bottom of those queues.
  • You can now search parts on the inventory management page of the Purchasing Module using the Vendor Part #.
  • Google-Fi has been added as a carrier for the purposes of cell phone text alerts.

General Fixes / Issues
The issues below were resolved in this release.   

  • Optimized the customer search function to take into account missing characters like double spaces, hyphens, underscores, and many other easily-forgotten characters.
  • Fixed an issue that was preventing "Order Status Change" alerts from triggering in certain scenarios. 
  • Fixed an issue that was causing blank ID numbers on check payments to display as null on the payment history screen.
  • Fixed an issue that was causing extraneous part information to appear on vendor purchase orders.
  • Fixed a rare issue that would fail to move an order to the Closed status after the order has been Completed and paid in full.
