Using Customer Industry Types allows you to classify customers by the kind of industry they’re in which makes it easier to sort through customers.

 

Assigning an Industry Type to a Customer

Navigate to the Sales Module > Customers tab.

1. Select the customer you need.
2. Click on the Settings tab.
3. Click Update.
4. Select the Industry Type you want from the drop-down menu.
5. Click Update to save your settings and close the popup window.
