When you enter an Order for a Part that can run on a Machine, the system displays a list of eligible Machines for the user to choose from. To appear on this list each Machine must first be associated with the appropriate Part or Part Group. By setting up these associations, you control which Machines are available for specific work, helping ensure the right equipment is used for each job and that pricing and scheduling stay accurate.


Note:  You will need user access rights for the Management Module to complete this task.



Navigate to the Management Module / Parts / Parts and select the appropriate Part.


1. Select the Machines tab.

2. Click Associate Machines To This Part.

Note: If the Part is in a Part Group, the changes you make will apply to the entire group, not just one Part.



3. Select the Machines you would like to associate with the Part or Part Group.

4. Click Update.
