With Destinations enabled in CoreBridge, you can have a single Order with multiple Destinations, including Shipment, Delivery, Pickup, and Installation. This article will cover the steps necessary to create, edit, and manage Destinations within your CoreBridge system.

For more information on Destinations, please see Destinations Overview and Training.

Note:  Destinations is an additional feature included with your subscription of CoreBridge. This feature is not enabled by default, but you can request to have it enabled by CoreBridge Support at no additional charge. Please contact support@corebridge.net to have Destinations activated.

Managing Multiple Products and Destinations

Destinations can be used for splitting Product Destinations. For example, an order for two posters and two banners can be split allowing one of each product to go to a different destination.

Navigate to the Sales Module / Order View  / Address Info.

Note: You do not need to be in Order Edit to create/edit destinations.

Note: During initial estimate/order creation, all product quantities will be assigned to the first destination entered.

1. Click the Edit icon to update the existing destination.

2. Update the Used Qty to the Product Quantities to be used for your first Destination.

    a. Total Quantity refers to the total number of the Product.

    b. Available Quantity is the amount left that has not been assigned a Destination.

    c. Used Quantity is the amount assigned to this Destination.

3. Click Save.

Note: The Address information will be as you entered it in Step 3 of Estimate or Order entry. Edit the address information if needed.

Alert icons will appear on the page to indicate that you have Products on the Order which have NOT been assigned to a Destination. Hover over the lower icon to display a table showing the quantity from each Product that is available to assign to a Destination.

Creating Destinations

When an Order requires Products to be delivered to more than one Destination, you will need to create the necessary additional Destinations.

Navigate to the Sales Module / Order View / Address Info

Note: You do not need to be in Order Edit to Create or Edit Destinations.

1. Select + Create Destination.

2. When editing or creating a Destination, first, you will select the Address Type - or type of Destination.

  • If you choose Pickup, Delivery or Installation, select the Date and Time your Product should arrive.
  • If you choose Shipment, select the Date and Time your Product should ship. Then select the third party carrier you wish to use and the type of service.

Note: The Destination Description will be the Order Description by default, but can be edited.

3. Update the Used Qty to the Product Quantities going to this Destination.

    a. Total Quantity refers to the total number of the Product.

    b. Available Quantity is the amount left that has not been assigned a Destination.

    c. Used Quantity is the amount already assigned to a Destination.

4. Click Save.

Note: The Address information will be as you entered it in Step 3 of Estimate or Order entry. Edit the address information if needed. To use a manually entered address, select Other from the dropdown menu under Location, and then enter the Destination's address.

Managing Destinations in Production Workflow

As Products using Destinations move through Work In Progress, each Destination will show a Pending Status.

A Destination's Status will change to Ready once ALL the associated Products for the Destination are moved to the BUILT Production Status. Once the Product is in the BUILT Production Status, the system switches to using the Destination Status.

Destinations are managed through the use of Queues in the Production Module. Here, Destinations are separated by the type of Destination:  Installation, Delivery, Shipping, and Awaiting Pickup. The number inside the green circle indicates the number of destinations in the Ready status for each destination.

Inside a Destination Queue

a. Adjust the Queue results by using the filters at the top of the Queue.

b. Use the expand arrow to see additional information, View/Edit Notes, and Print Packing Slip. The orange icon to the right of the Invoice Number will take you to the Order View.

c. Destination Status can be updated right from the Queue as the work is completed.

Note: This dropdown is always available, even if the expand arrow isn’t clicked.
