Product Level Discounts allow you to apply a discount during order entry at the product level. This discount will show on customer Estimates and Invoices.
Key Concepts:
- Product Level Discounts are distributed evenly between all parts and modifiers on the product.
- Product Level Discounts are applied after all other pricing calculations have been performed.
- Product Level Discounts reduce setup fee, part and modifier retail totals and are not itemized on reports.
- Product Level Discounts function independently of order level discounts.
To apply a Product Level Discount during order entry, click the edit button as seen in the screenshot below:
A new Advanced Pricing Options modal will appear. Enter your desired discount and click Apply & Close to save.
Product Level Discounts will show on Estimates and Invoices as seen below:
