CoreBridge allows control of pricing on the customer level. There are three ways to control customer based pricing; assigning a pricing tier, part price overrides, and machine price overrides.

Changing the overall Customer Pricing Tier will change the customer's placement on the Discount Chart Table (Market-Based Pricing) or Margin Chart Table (Cost-Plus Pricing) for all parts and modifiers in the system. Part Price Overrides allow you to set a customer pricing tier or retail price for a customer on a specific part. Machine Price Overrides allow you to set a retail price for the customer when that machine is used.

NOTE:  Customer Pricing Options affect BOTH Market-Based and Cost-Plus pricing.

This article will cover the following topics:

Clicking on a hyperlink of any customer's name will bring you to that customer's information page. Navigate to the Pricing Options tab to change pricing options for that customer.

NOTE:  The user must have the Access Right for Able to Adjust Customer Specific Pricing enabled to make any changes.

Customer Pricing Tier

Pricing Tiers appear on the Discount Chart Table (Market-Based Pricing) or Margin Chart Table (Cost-Plus Pricing) for parts and modifiers in the system. By default, the higher the tier number, the higher the discount (Market-Based Pricing) or the lower the margin (Cost-Plus Pricing).

To change the Customer Pricing Tier, which will affect all parts and modifiers for this customer, select the desired tier number from the dropdown menu.

Customer tiers are numbered 1 through 8. Typically, customers with higher tiers receive higher breaks in pricing. Exceptions would be if the table was overridden with custom values that intentionally changed this.
