Exporting your SignVox Customer Information

It is important that you export a total of 2 files, one for your active customers and one for your contacts. Failure to provide CoreBridge with BOTH files will result is a delay of your import.

How to Export the Customer File

  4. Click on New Customer Report.
  5. Specify a Report Name and check the following fields as shown in the screenshot below:
  6. Set the Filter and Group By as shown in the screenshot below:
  7. Click Save Report.
  8. Click Download to save as comma-delimited (CSV) list of the companies.
  9. Rename the zipped folder to include the CoreBridge URL. This is how CoreBridge will identify your location.
  10. After you have successfully exported the files from SignVox you should upload them to the CoreBridge FTP Server (corebridge.sharefile.com/filedrop).

How to Export your SignVox Contacts

  2. Under Client Reports, click Contacts as shown in the screenshot below:
NOTE:  This will likely be at the VERY bottom of the screen.

NOTE:  Contacts on this list that are associated with inactive customers will not be imported.

  4. Click Generate.
  5. Click CSV to save a comma-delimited (CSV) list of your contacts.
  6. Rename the zipped folder to include the CoreBridge URL. This is how CoreBridge will identify your location.

Preparing the Customer List for Manual Import into CoreBridge

*Do It Yourself Method

If you're not using CoreBridge's paid data import service, you can choose to manually import the customers and contacts into CoreBridge.

After you've successfully exported a comma-delimited list of the customers and contacts from SignVox you will need to format the data to prepare it for import into CoreBridge. We recommend that you refer to this article for instructions on importing customers into CoreBridge. It is highly recommended that you clean up any formatting of company & contact information within Excel prior to importing it into CoreBridge.

Below are a few fields that should be carefully reviewed prior to import to ensure that the data is properly formatted:

  • Contact Person – This field needs to be split into two fields for Primary Contact First Name and Primary Contact Last Name.
  • Sales Rep – The values in this field need to be updated to ensure the spelling of the Sales Rep name matches an existing Employee record in CoreBridge.
  • Taxable – The values in this field need to be changed to Yes and No.
  • Term Code – The values in this field need to updated to ensure the spelling of the Payment Terms matches an existing Payment Term in CoreBridge.
  • Tax Class – The values in this field need to updated to ensure the spelling of the Tax Class matches an existing Tax Group in CoreBridge.
  • AP Contact – This field needs to be split into two fields for Billing Contact First Name and Billing Contact Last Name.
