Product Notes are used to add Notes to a Product on an estimate or order. This is an ideal method of communicating certain details to specific recipients in the production of the product. For instance, if you wish to communicate a file name to your designer, simply add a Design note indicating the file name.
You can also set up alerts to notify users when a product note has been added.

Adding Product Notes During Order Entry
Navigate to Sales Module / Estimates or Orders and Create New.
1. Click Manage Product Notes on the Product you wish to add a Note.
2. Check the boxes for the groups that need to see the Note.
Note: Sales, Production, & Design Notes are only seen by internal staff and show up on digital Work Orders. The most recent Production Note will be seen on both the printed and digital Work Orders.
3. Enter your Note.
4. Click Add Note.
a. Click on a tab to review previously added Product Notes.
b. Check the box to show deleted Product Notes.
Adding Product Notes from the Queues
Navigate to the Sales, Design, or Production Queues in the Sales Module.
1. Click the arrow to expand the Product.
2. Click Product Notes.
3. Check the boxes for the groups that need to see the Note.
Note: Sales, Production, & Design Notes are only seen by internal staff and show up on digital Work Orders. The most recent Production Note will be seen on both the printed and digital Work Orders.
4. Enter your Note.
5. Click Add Note.
a. Click on a tab to review previously added Product Notes.

Navigate to the Product View Page.
