The Sales by Created Date report provides a view of sales activity based on when an Order was originally created. Recent updates have changed how certain types of voids are handled within these reports.

This change applies only to reports that use the Sales by Created Date filter.

Key Concepts

• Applies only to Sales by Created Date reports.
  Other reports, such as Sales by Completed Date, are not affected.

• Data is based on current Order amounts.
  The report reflects the current value stored in the database for each Order.

• Normal voids are not ignored.
  Voided Orders continue to display on the report based on the Voided Date of the Order.

• Voids from editing Completed or Closed Orders are now ignored.
  When an edit to a Completed or Closed Order creates a void, it is now treated as an adjustment rather than a traditional void.

Updated Behavior: Voids from Editing Completed or Closed Orders

Voids created by editing a Completed or Closed Order are now handled like Order adjustments, as shown in Example 1 below.
This ensures the most current Order amount is reflected on the report without showing an unnecessary void entry.
