We understand that you wish to turn off TaxJar. This article will help you understand what to expect and what steps you will need to take.

After TaxJar is turned off:

• We will send you a report listing all open Orders and Estimates.

• All open Orders and Estimates in your system will retain their current Tax Group "TaxJar Tax Group". 
  

• These records will not be updated automatically. They’ll retain their existing Tax Group until you make changes.

What you need to do:

• Manually update each open Order and Estimate with the correct Legacy Tax Group of your choice.

• If there are records you no longer need, you can choose to Cancel or Void them instead.

Note: This process can be time consuming, especially if you have many open records. Bulk updates are not supported, since we don't know which Legacy Tax Group should apply to each individual record.
